The more common brands of liquor are easily spotted by the label and shape of the bottle they are sold in. Some of these liquor bottles are so unique they are worth keeping when all the spirits are consumed. They make wonderful additions to any décor and when filled with colored water make a great prism to shine through a gloomy room. You might not be the colorful kind of person though but you get the idea. Many creative uses have been found for the used liquor bottle and with a little imagination, you too can style your living space with them.
Before you begin the journey toward the creative side of the liquor bottle, it must be said that in many places, you have the option to return the bottle for your money back. If this is done with a little thought behind it, you could choose the keepers and take back the ones you do not want and have some extra cash for the creations to come. This is just a thought though and one I would suggest you consider carefully.
One of the best uses I have found for your used liquor bottle is for holding candles. There are some really great drip candles that will bring a colorful addition to the outside of the bottle. It sort of reminds you of the wine bottles used in a quaint Italian restaurant to light the romantic side of your dinner. All you need to do is find a taper candle made to drip and make sure it is a tiny bit larger than the opening of the bottle. Insert the candle into the bottle but push it in far enough so it is secure enough not fall out or move around. Light the candle and allow the wax to drip down the sides of the bottle. This makes a nicely decorated candle holder that can be changed to match any color you choose.
Not only can you use the liquor bottle itself for some creative ideas but you can also use the boxes or decorative bags that some of the better known brands come in. These bags are great for saving and carrying around your weekly poker money. They have a drawstring on the top for quick closing and the purple is definitely a color for the winners circle. But, again, how you choose to recycle your liquor bottles and the accessories that come with them is totally up to you.
Whether you want to be creative with your liquor bottles or just take them in for a few bits of change, enjoy your time and have fun. Life is too short to miss a great opportunity for a spark of imagination to come to life. Your creative ideas will definitely begin to flow as you open the liquor bottle and partake of the spirits. Who knows, one of your creative endeavors with your liquor bottle and its accessories may very well prove to be the next big idea in lawn ornaments.
